SHELFCHECK

A clearer look at what’s on the shelf.

A simple shelf check for independent shops in Fiji. Take a photo of your shop shelf, see a few supported observations and up to three practical suggestions.

Currently in private testing

01

Take a clear photo

Photograph one shelf, straight on, with good light.

02

See what’s visible

Review possible gaps and shelf presentation. Unclear details stay uncertain.

03

Choose what to check

Get up to three suggestions. You know your shop; check and correct the observations.

Fictional shelf · illustrative result

An illustrated shop shelf with three numbered checksOne marks an empty-looking space on the top shelf, two marks a sideways carton below, and three marks a faint shelf label. These connect to the three suggestions beside the illustration.123

A few things to check.

  1. 1
An empty-looking spaceCheck behind nearby products and in your stock area before deciding to refill.
  2. 2
A sideways packTurn the front towards shoppers so it’s easier to see.
  3. 3
A hard-to-read labelCheck that the shelf price is clear and matches the product.
A photo can’t confirm stock levels or hidden shelf depth. Product names and exact counts may be unclear.

Schematic example, not a customer result or a live analysis. No real products or validated product recognition are shown.

Before you take part

If you’re invited to use the free trial, we’ll ask for your informed agreement to use appropriately de-identified, aggregated shelf observations for research and commercial intelligence. The intended model keeps identifiable store reports and original photos from being shared with manufacturers unless you give separate permission.

Participation terms are still being developed. You’ll be given the details to review before agreeing.
